The Al Kharsaah Solar Power Plant is Qatar’s first large-scale solar power project and represents a significant step toward diversifying the country’s energy mix. Located in the Al Kharsaah area, about 80 kilometers west of Doha, this solar power plant is part of Qatar’s National Vision 2030, which aims to reduce the nation’s reliance on hydrocarbon-based energy sources and increase the use of renewable energy.
